2009: Picked up a win at the Tom King 5k in Nashville where he set a road PR of 15:21...Finished third overall in the Covenant Health Knoxville Half Marathon with a time of 1:10:11...Finished 8th overall and was the 1st American at the Country Music Marathon battling temperatures in the 80's and running a 2:29:55, his first marathon.
College: Ran at William & Mary as a Freshman...Transferred to UT in 2007 where he was named Most Valuable Runner and earned All-SEC & All-Region honors...Ran to his second All-Region honors in 2008.
High School: Finished 4th in the TSSAA Division II Championship to help lead the Webb Spartans to a state title in 2003.
Miscellaneous: Won a slew of road and trail races during his off seasons in 2007 including the Haw Ridge Trail Race, I.C. King of the Trails, News Years Day 5k, Fireball 5k, and the Adam Downen 5k...highest running honor is beating teammate Andy Baksa in four consecutive head-to-head competitions.
