Jon Peralto Jon joined the Runners Market crew in August of 2011 after moving to Knoxville from Hawaii. In Hawaii, Jon was a 2-time state champion sprinter and also worked for the Running Room, a specialty running store near the infamous Waikiki strip. After high school he first pursued a career as a chef, but his passion for running lured him to Linfield College in Oregon where he was a member of the conference championship track team in 2007. He graduated in 2008 with a degree in History and later followed that up with a Master's of Education from Chaminade University. In recent years, Jon has fallen in love with trail running and can often be found running local trails with his dog. |
